What is Precall?

Precall (a Prepaid management system) is a Billing, Prepaid and calling card solution that has all the features you need to start offering Voice-over-IP services. Precall is well suited for small-to-medium sized (up to 1,000 E1) operators looking to roll out differentiated Voice-over-IP services at a budget cost.

Why should I choose Precall?

Precall offers all the features you need to offer Voice services over Cisco and Quintum gear, great-prepaid features, and is more affordable than other comparable packages.

Can I use Precall for traditional (non-VoIP) telephony?

Yes. Precall allows unique handling of each call leg and it will work the same way if you do not use the Internet to route calls by using just call legs 1 and 4 (plain telephony).

Does Precall offer end-to-end calling card management?

Yes, Precall incorporates a comprehensive list of calling cards management capabilities that include cards production, cards refill for accounts, voucher sign in, shelf life, and more. Prepaid Voucher capabilities are flexible, allowing you to differentiate prepaid offers with prepaid bundles and time limited promotions.

Does Precall support Interactive Voice Response (IVR)?

Yes, Precall has inbuilt support for Cisco call flow and IVR applications including debit card and client authentication and you can quickly deploy any type of IVR application. For example, you can have your callers call your interactive voice response access number, key their account number (or Calling Card ID) and pin and the destination phone number and complete the call if they have enough balance. You can prompt them before their balance is running out and they will also be able to call the IVR just to check on their current balance.

Can I stop concurrent calls with Precall?

Yes, with Precall you can control the maximum number of simultaneous calls by individual callers and groups.

Can I limit access based on caller ID?

Yes, you can determine from what phone number a user is allowed to access, as well as define the restriction for specific prefixes.

Can I limit access based on destination number?

Yes, you can block certain destinations based on calling card type or customer profile.
Is precall Web-enabled?

Precall is fully configurable and accessible over the Web, anywhere in the world, with no client side installation and with SSL security.

Can I customize Precall?

Precall is uniquely designed to ease customization. Many customizations are automatically generated using Precall customization utilities. Invoices are customized by modifying XSL templates and are generated as XSL. The Web admin interface and the customer self care can be branded and modified to simple HTML. Additionally, the administration interface supports tiered access with any number of tiers (each with its own modification/view privileges), definable through HTML.

What Web servers can I use with the application?
