Leading GSM Provider selects Infozech’s Convergent Billing and Partner Settlement Solution

Infozech, an established Telco player in the telecom industry, announced today that it had been chosen by the third largest GSM mobile operator in Yemen to provide an end to end Customer Care & Billing Solution. The operator is focused on facilitating new as well as innovative GSM services to its end customers.  

Infozech's solution would enable functionalities such as; customer registration, provisioning, POS, customer care, tariff management, prepaid and postpaid billing, invoicing.

In addition to billing, Infozech will also provide the interconnect solution.

Infozech has proposed its flagship product eBIll and iCAS to fulfill the service provider's BSS needs.

Leading Telco in Namibia selects Infozech’s GSM Solution

Infozech announced today, the selection of its end-to-end Customer Care, Billing and Settlement Solution, by the second largest cellular operator in Namibia . The service provider recognizes the genuine need for choice in Namibia and aims to deliver exceptional customer service and a high quality network.

The operator required a BSS solution on GSM technology which could support its subscribers for Customer Care, Billing and Partner Settlement.  

Infozech offered its flexible end to end billing product eBill & interconnect solution iCAS to cater to the business requirements of the operator.   

This solution would help in offering services such as; Voice, SMS, Data, National Roaming and Voucher Management.

Leading Telco of Pakistan selects Infozech Solution For Nationwide WiMax Network Deployment

Pakistan's leading WiMAX operator has selected Infozech's Voucher Management System, "VoMS" for managing pre-paid vouchers. With Infozech's solution, the operator's dream to make broadband into a reality came true ushering in a digital revolution, providing the access network, subscriber units, and services to quickly and cost-effectively connect the unconnected.

Using Infozech's solution, the client was able to perform functionalities such as PIN generation, maintenance of subscriber wallet, subscriber database creation and maintenance, rates management and MIS reporting. Infozech seamlessly integrated with network elements and 3rd party systems, such as IVR, Web, SMSC, ATM, etc to allow the subscribers to recharge their accounts by multiple modes. These interfaces were achieved via XML messages over HTTP. Infozech successfully handled the logging and auditing mechanism needs of the client and also provided various customizable reports to the client.

Infozech allowed the Telco's subscribers to offer a multitude of WiMax services under a single account. The flexibility of the system was a major asset for the client, enabling it to devise compelling price plans and packages for its end subscribers. This allowed the client to focus on its core service offering, thereby leading to a significant increase in its operational efficiency.

Infozech enables mobile content for a pre-paid VAS provider

Infozech has added another deployment for a nationwide pre-paid VAS provider based in India. The customer is a VAS provider that has fast grown into one-stop online payment solution for various services, using an IT enabled platform that connects over 35,000 customer touch points. The service provider has on offer, a unique VAS delivery platform providing an eco-system for content providers and application developers to exploit the VAS market potential. Infozech's voucher management system has enabled the client to manage its prepaid VAS cards for various types of content downloads such as MMS, ring tones, screensavers, voice mail, news updates, emails, video clips etc on the mobile. A downloadable WAP client has been configured by Infozech to allow the end subscriber to access the VAS services.

Infozech also provided an interconnect carrier access settlement solution that provided the service provider, the ability to manage its charging, billing and reconciliation needs necessary for revenue assurance. It enabled the client to handle complex real time rating based in three-dimensional rating parameters. Besides this, seamless integration with Non-Streaming Content Delivery Platform and Radius server was provided by Infozech. The solution enabled the client to improve its internal efficiencies and scale its business by large magnitudes.

Leading wireless service provider in Tanzania selects Infozech's postpaid billing solution

The operator is a leading Broadband service provider in Tanzania and is diversifying its operations by providing green field CDMA operations in Tanzania. The network is CDMA200 1x 450Mhz comprising of BTS, BSC, soft switch, media gateway and signaling gateway.

Infozech, in partnership with a leading system integrator, has deployed a postpaid billing and customer care solution including features such as provisioning, rating, service management, discounts and promotions, invoicing and accounting, customer care and reporting. Infozech's solution has been seamlessly integrated with the IN platform.

Infozech provides triple play billing for India's largest operator

Infozech Software has deployed a triple play billing solution for the incumbent telco of India, BSNL to support its VSAT based services. The required network equipment for setting up the VSAT infrastructure has been supplied and commissioned by Shin Satellite of Thailand. Infozech provided a customer care and billing solution to support the VSAT system for offering value added services (VAS) in line with the goal of redefining the customer's telecom services. The single converged solution enables the customer to manage, bundle and promote all triple play services to the subscribers in a coherent manner.

The solution enabled the telco to produce consolidated bills for triple play services i.e. voice, video and data services. Infozech's offering, with its finely tuned processes and minimum customization requirement, helped the incumbent operator to overcome challenges and handle complex customer services needs effectively. Infozech's solution solves wireless operator's high capacity requirements

The operator offers a wide range of services, which includes national and international calls, data and fax facilities. Its network consists of the latest switching, transmission and accessibility technology providing quality band voice services, 144 kbps for data transmission, SMS and MMS services.

Infozech provided an interconnect carrier access settlement solution that provided the service provider, the ability to manage its charging, billing and reconciliation needs necessary for revenue assurance. The highly scalable solution provided the capability to support the high capacity requirements of the client to store 10mn CDRs/day for 90 days. It enabled the client to bill the interconnecting partners/service providers, audit the bills raised by them and perform insightful reporting for least cost routing (LCR) and rates management.

The solution was integrated with a central FTP server for capturing of data from different MSCs of leading network vendor. Due to high scalability and flexibility of the deployed system, it has the capability to support integration even with multiple number of FTP servers, as might be required by the client in the next phase of implementation.

Leading Telco of Bangladesh goes live with Infozech's interconnect solution

Infozech has deployed an interconnect solution, for inter-carrier partner settlement for a leading telco of Bangladesh offering fixed wireless CDMA services. The system capabilities included the functionalities to enter interconnect rates, rate the CDRs collected from switches and generate Credit and Debit notes for each interconnect operator. iCAS, Infozech's interconnect billing solution performed tasks such as processing and rating of interconnect CDRs, billing and invoicing for interconnect partners, settlement and reconciliation with interconnect partners and generation of analytic reports.

The rating module in the solution provided crucial interconnect carrier consolidation capability. In addition to this, Infozech's highly skilled base of technical professionals were able to provide the CDMA operator with consultancy in the area of billing, revenue assurance as well as customer care management.

Bangladesh's leading telco Sheba Phone launches WLL-CDMA services with Infozech's 'Telco in a box' solution

Infozech has added yet another deployment in Bangladesh strengthening its presence in the region. The telco, Sheba Phone is licensed to offer basic WLL-CDMA telephone services in the country's rural sector-and has been providing its service from 1995. It is looking at introducing WLL-CDMA services across rural Bangladesh. Sheba Phone aims at providing communication network to the remotest corner of the rural areas. It aspires to give access to remote rural landscape of Bangladesh by providing telecommunication facilities in the form of public call office (PCO) telephony.

To launch these CDMA based PCO services, Sheba Phone selected Infozech's convergent billing and customer care platform, eBill that enabled integration of the telco's existing Telos switches with the new Alvarion network infrastructure. The solution offering provided a suite of functionalities right from provisioning, trouble ticket resolution, line activation/deactivation, customer care and management to credit control and reporting. eBill has enabled the operator to achieve a significant improvement in its service delivery, including answering queries, bills generation, sending out notifications for payments, etc.

Infozech to Partner with Sun on the OSS/J Initiative

IT leader Sun, which has been driving the OSS/J initiative across the globe and in India, will now be working with Infozech to develop systems in the new environment. Recognizing the fact that existing operating systems cannot meet the demands of telecom service providers, global bodies, such as the Telemanagement Forum (TM Forum) and IT leaders such as Sun have been actively addressing the issue and have unleashed several initiatives in this sphere.

TM Forum, a group of major industry players including service providers, network equipment suppliers, software solution suppliers and customers of communications services has unveiled a framework for creating a New Generation Operations Support System (NGOSS). The initiative will deliver a set of guidelines and specifications for the telecom industry to build software in a more structured way. The NGOSS is also expected to provide a blue print for scalable and flexible infrastructure required by service providers for deploying new services rapidly.

In line with this development, several telecom operators and Service Providers are moving to the NGOSS and the OSS through Java (OSS/J) for implementing it. It is an acknowledged fact today that OSS/J greatly reduces TCO and decreases TTM significantly.

Sun's Java Enterprise System (JES) to be deployed across Infozech's product line

Sun Microsystems India Pvt. Ltd. and Infozech recently signed an OEM agreement to allow the deployment of Sun’s Java Enterprise System (JES) in Infozech’s existing and future products.

Recognized for its revolutionary, subscription-based approach to infrastructure software, Sun’s JES will help Infozech customers greatly reduce cost and complexity throughout the data center. Using the JES solution, Infozech will also cut the time-to-market for new products, making available fresh offerings to users at competitive prices and within the shortest possible time.
Infozech, which shares a technology partnership with Sun Microsystems, achieved breakthrough performance with its i-Rater product on the Sun Solaris 10 platform earlier this year.

“This OEM agreement further strengthens the relationship Infozech shares with Sun. Leading European MVNO selects Infozech Solution

Infozech strengthened its presence in the European market by implementing a leading-edge content management, billing and VoIP solution for a reputed Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO). The solution deployed for Tulip, will serve as a stepping stone for Infozech, to reach other well known telcos in the continent. The Infozech solution will power the large MVNO network being rolled out by Tulip. It will provide support to a pre-paid VoIP service being introduced for European customers, which will offer both IP and PSTN termination.

Infozech’s solution is centered around a billing server and the i-Voice - SIP-based IP calling platform. The PSTN gateway is being provided by Cisco. Using this integrated solution, Tulip subscribers will be able to either originate the call from the PSTN phone or a SIP soft phone. The call originating from the PSTN phone will terminate at the PSTN gateway, while the call originating from the SIP soft phone will terminate at the soft switch.

Infozech’s i-Voice – SIP based IP calling platform - covers functionalities such as IP-to-IP termination, IP-to-PSTN routing and VAS. It also includes Radius based authentication. Infozech hosts "My China Number" service for China Voice Corporation

China Voice Corporation, a subsidiary of Call Gateway Corporation of the USA, has recently deployed a solution from Infozech that provides back-end support to its popular “My China Number” service.

My China number is a unique service, which allows US businesses targeting the growing China market to have virtual presence in that country at an affordable cost. It also helps Chinese – expatriates with associates in China and frequent business/Chinese travelers. Infozech extend its canvas across Latin America, Europe and Middle East Asia

Hughes Software and Infozech launch VoIP-based Prepaid Billing Solution

Communications software leader Hughes Software Systems (HSS) and Infozech have jointly launched a VoIP Prepaid Billing solution for global customers.

Targeted at Next Gen and incumbent telecom services providers, the integrated offering is a readily deployable Solutions Framework that enables users to cut down the time-to-market new services and make them business ready in the shortest possible time.

The Solutions Framework combines Infozech's Precall Prepaid Management platform-which provides card management, billing and customer care features for VoIP services-and HSS' VoIP Gatekeeper. The Web-enabled VoIP solution enables telecom service providers to offer flexible pricing and charge plans for their pre-paid services, manage manage card generation, card distribution, card re-charge and billing and introduce customer self-care options.

Infozech pens new deals with Building Technologies (BTI), Canada

Infozech has inked a new arrangement with Building Technologies (BTI), a well-known provider of managed broadband and voice services to business and residential customers in Canada. Infozech enters Mexican market

Infozech Software recently announced its entry into Mexico, with a contract from MCM Telecom, a reputed broadband services company.

MCM will be deploying Infozech's flagship billing and customer care product, eBill, for its customer billing services, over the next six months. Besides implementing the solution, Infozech will be involved in a multi-year support engagement with the Mexican firm.

Infozech will be undertaking billing and customer management for MCM's broadband pre-paid and post-paid Voice-over-IP services, using eBill. The product, an end-to-end billing application, will be used for provisioning, customer management, recurring billing, auto payments and credit monitoring by MCM. eBill will also offer MCM customers a Web interface for access over the Internet, enabling them to make online payments and avail other self-service benefits.

Infozech's i-Rater has achieved breakthrough performance on the cutting-edge Sun Solaris10/Sun Studio 9 platform, making it one of the world's fastest rating engines.

Infozech, which shares a Technology Partnership with ICT major Sun, participated in the benchmark to demonstrate the scalability, high performance and economies of scale offered by i-Rater. The exercise also showcased i-Rater's ability to handle over 250 million transactions per hour on a medium range Sun Fire Server.

While most service providers produce less than one billion rateable events per day, i-Rater rated this in a four-hour period, on an 8-processor machine, thereby significantly reducing the hardware and software investment for a large service provider.

Voiceglo chooses Infozech's eBill Solution for Next Generation Billing Services

Infozech Software today announced that Voiceglo (OTCBB:TGLO), a global, full-service Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications company, has chosen Infozech's eBill solution for its customer billing services. Infozech is a leading provider of convergent rating and billing systems for next generation telecommunications companies that take call level information to immediate viewing of consumer billing.

Infozech has implemented eBill, an end-to-end billing application which will be used for provisioning, customer management, recurring billing, auto payments and credit monitoring. Frontline selects Infozech’s iCAS for carrier-to-carrier settlement and reconciliation

Infozech Software Inc. , a leading supplier of Customer Care and Billing solution to telecommunications industry, announced today that it has signed a new contract for implementation of its Inter Carrier Account Settlement(iCAS) for Frontline, a company based in New York.

Frontline based in New York., US is a carrier-to-carrier service provider, providing long distance international services. Frontline uses Lucent and Nortel switches and will be using iCAS for carrier-to-carrier settlement and reconciliation.

Frontline has chosen Infozech’s eBill integrated with iCAS to capture customer contact details to access past invoices to integrate agent care and commissions to capture Customer Care details. The agent module of eBill, fully integrated with iCAS, will help Frontline in compiling of day-to-day reports on traffic origination and termination with revenue details.

iBattle chooses Infozech Software Inc. to expand its usage based Data and Utility offerings

Infozech Software Inc., the global technology leader in convergent billing software solutions for wireline, wireless and IP service providers in the telecom industry, is pleased to announce that it has completed installation of it’s Customer care and Billing solution, eBill, at iBattle, a VoIP service provider based in Japan.

iBattle is a provider of pre paid and post calling cards to enterprises. It uses gateways from CISCO and VocalTec.

ibattle contracted with Infozech Software Inc. to help in providing call details to it’s subscriber through web interface and to charge a customer on multiple rates within the same call depending on the DNIS number. Infozech’s eBill would enable their IVR to support multiple languages and also would generate invoices for Sale Agents and for end user traffic.

NobelTel selects Infozech’s iCAS for Wholesale Billing in an ASP environment

Infozech Software Inc. today announced that NobelTel, a leader in providing prepaid and wholesale telecommunications products, selected Infozech’s Inter Carrier Access Settlement Solution to support it’s interconnect billing and wholesale telecommunication business. Infozech would provide iCAS as a hosted solution to NobelTel.

Infozech’s iCAS is integral to NobelTel’s Wholesale Telecommunications Business providing them with details of revenue and cost position with interconnecting partners.

NobelTel’s key business requirement was to bill the Interconnecting partners for terminating their traffic and auditing the bills raised by their carriers. It also required accurate invoicing of interconnect operators and to reduce errors and costs by automating the complexities of billing and settlement. iCAS receives a data feed from NobelTel’s Switches and rates them for the purpose of Invoicing. The solution enables NobelTel to audit the bills of the interconnecting partners and deploy cost control procedures. The solution can be easily configured to automate the entire bill verification process by providing highly scalable and reliable dual rating engine and charging engine.

The offerings from Infozech Software Inc. as an ASP will allow NobelTel to focus on Customer satisfaction and other business initiatives rather than investing in an IT infrastructure. “Infozech has provided us with a proven Billing and Settlement solution that delivers the reliability, scalability, and performance required to handle large volumes of traffic for settlement. By implementing, iCAS in an ASP environment, we’ve cut months off the implementation time and cost and ables us to concentrate on our core business,” commented a spokesperson from Nobeltel.

Myco Telecommunications continues it’s growth with Infozech’s eBill, Customer Care and Billing solution.

Infozech Software Inc. announced that it has successfully implemented eBill, its Customer care and Billing Solution at Myco telecommunication, based in Kansas City, U.S.

Myco telecommunications is a long distance reseller, providing long distance services to educational Institutions and residential customers. They are also an existing ISP with their own data centre.

Myco telecommunications chose Infozech’s eBill to provide web enabled customer care, for re- rating of CDR’s and for tax integration. Infozech’s eBill would enable Myco Telecommunication in account reconciliation and electronic bill presentment and payment.
