Infozech Implements Billing and Customer Care Solution for Leading
Broadband Services Provider in Mexico
Infozech Software of New Delhi, a leading provider of convergent
billing and settlement solutions for next gen telcos announced its
entry into Mexico where it completed the implementation of a complete
billing solution for MCM Telecom, Mexico’s leading provider
of broadband services for businesses.
MCM deployed Infozech’s flagship billing and customer care
product, eBill, for its customer billing services. Besides implementing
the solution, Infozech will be involved in a multi-year support
engagement with the Mexican firm.
Commenting on the significance of the project, Mr. Ankur Lal, CEO,
Infozech Software said: “Our engagement with MCM, a well known
telecom services provider, will enable us to gain a foothold in
Mexico and tap into the business opportunities offered by this high
potential market. It will also enable us to expand and strengthen
our presence in the Latin American region, where we are already
deploying our products.”
Infozech’s next gen billing eBill solution provides MCM with
pre-paid and post-paid billing capabilities for its Voice-over-IP
services. The product, an end-to-end billing application, will be
used for provisioning, customer management, recurring billing, auto
payments and credit monitoring by MCM. eBill will also offer MCM
customers a Web interface for access over the Internet, enabling
them to make online payments and other self-service benefits.
Mark Hilton, Chief Operating Officer of MCM Telecom said, “eBill
will enable us to provide a variety of enhanced billing services
for our recently launched enterprise Voice Over IP services, while
also supporting our goal of providing the best customer service
of any telecom carrier in Mexico. We believe we have a very scalable
product with the Infozech eBill application.”
